Where Will Teams Finish this 2025/2026 EPL Season? (My Predictions)

The Premier League is back, and as always, it’s already shaping up to be one of the most competitive seasons we’ve seen in years. Every team has something to prove—whether it’s fighting for the title, battling for European spots, or simply avoiding the drop. I’ve been looking at the squads, the managers, and the early signs, and here’s where I think some of the big names, and a few surprise packages, might end up come May 2026.

Below is a YouTube video from DR Sport with hosts giving their own prediction:

Manchester City – Top Four, but Not Champions

Is it just me, or does it feel like Pep Guardiola’s golden touch at City might finally be fading? Don’t get me wrong—they’re still stacked with talent and will definitely be in the top four. But I just don’t see them lifting the title again under Pep’s leadership. Maybe the hunger has dipped, maybe rivals have caught up, or maybe it’s just football’s natural cycle. Either way, I’m predicting a solid season, but no more parades in sky blue.

Liverpool – Back-to-Back Titles?

Liverpool are the reigning champions, and they look hungry to defend their crown. Arne Slot has already shown he’s no pushover, and the squad looks even stronger after summer reinforcements. With a blend of proven stars and exciting depth, the Reds have everything it takes to go all the way again. If they can maintain the intensity that won them the league last season, don’t be surprised if we’re talking about back-to-back titles come May. Here’s why I think Liverpool will win the league.

Manchester United – A Top Four Return

United fans have suffered enough false dawns, but under Ruben Amorim, things finally look like they’re moving in the right direction. Last season was rough—they spent more time looking over their shoulders than chasing the top four. But this year, with Amorim’s ideas settling in and some smart additions, I think a Champions League spot is within reach. It won’t be smooth sailing, but a top-four finish would be a big step forward.

Arsenal – The Year They Must Deliver

For Arsenal, the question isn’t whether they’ll challenge—it’s whether they’ll finally cross the line. Mikel Arteta has taken this team close in recent years, but near-misses can only be excused for so long. This has to be the season they deliver the Premier League title. They have the squad depth, the tactical setup, and the hunger. Anything less than first place will feel like another missed opportunity for the Gunners.

Tottenham – Respectable, But Not Top Five

Spurs always look good on paper, but the Premier League has a way of crushing even well-built teams. I don’t see them breaking into the top five this year. That said, they’re far too strong to fall apart completely. A solid top-half finish looks likely, and if they can build consistency, they’ll frustrate a few of the bigger names along the way.

Crystal Palace – The Surprise Package

The Eagles are flying higher than many expected. Beating Liverpool and Manchester City in finals and holding Chelsea in their first league outing? That’s impressive. Palace are no longer just a team trying to survive—they’re starting to look like a proper mid-table force. I’ll go bold here: a top-ten finish for Palace is absolutely on the cards.

The Relegation Scrap – Everton in Trouble

It might finally be time for Everton to go. They’ve flirted with danger for too long, and this season could be the one that pushes them over the edge into the Championship. Burnley are another side I can see struggling to stay afloat. West Ham started poorly, but they’ve got enough quality to recover, so I expect them to scrape survival.

Newcastle – A Top Four Contender

Newcastle look every bit like a side that belongs in the Champions League conversation. They’ve built depth, they’re tough to break down, and they’ve got firepower up front. It won’t be easy given how competitive the top six is, but I’d be shocked if they aren’t pushing for a top-four spot right up to the end.

Leeds United and Bournemouth – Survival is the Goal

Neither Leeds nor Bournemouth have shown enough to suggest they’ll comfortably stay up. Their squads are thin, and their results are usually up and down. Survival is the priority, and both clubs would bite your hand off for 17th place.

Brighton, Nottingham Forest & Fulham – Mid-Table Comfort

These three sides have just enough quality and stability to avoid the drop. Brighton, especially, could even push for the top ten, while Forest and Fulham should be safe in mid-table. None of them will set the league on fire, but they won’t be sweating on the final day either.

Wrapping Up…

The Premier League is brutally competitive, and predicting it is always risky. Liverpool looks like the team to beat again, Arsenal must deliver at last, and City might finally be slipping from the very top. Down at the bottom, Everton could be facing their nightmare, while Palace might just be writing one of the season’s best stories.

One thing’s certain: we’re in for another rollercoaster ride.
