You’ll Never Walk Alone, Diogo Jota

I thought it was a joke when I stumbled on the post carrying “RIP Diogo Jota” on my Facebook feed.

Rushed to Google to find if there were any reports on it, and then I found the news is everywhere. It’s SAD!

A feeling of anger and pity is what I feel. How can this happen I have asked myself plenty of times.

He was more than just a footballer. He was energy, passion, and raw determination on the pitch. Every time he wore that jersey, he gave everything for our club, for the fans, for the game. To imagine we’ll never see that again… I feel sad.

Social media is flooded with tributes — fans from all over the world, teammates, and even rival clubs like Everton have posted a tribute. That’s the kind of impact he had. Not just for the goals he scored, but for the spirit he brought to every match.

It’s hard to process. We cheer for these players like superheroes, forgetting sometimes that they’re just as human, just as vulnerable.

I’ve seen him for years in our dear club, and I feel this loss deeply.

Rest in peace, Diogo Jota. Thank you for every moment. You’ll never walk alone. Liverpool forever.
